Frequently asked questions

Which flooring is best for a kitchen or bathroom?

LVT or tiles are the safest choice where there is water. Engineered wood can work in a kitchen with care; solid wood and laminate are better kept to dry rooms.

Do you level the subfloor?

Yes. We check the subfloor first and use levelling compound or plywood overboarding where needed so the finished floor is flat and quiet.

How long does fitting take?

A single room is usually fitted in a day. A whole ground floor with subfloor preparation takes 2 to 4 days.

Can you fit flooring I have already bought?

Yes. We fit customer-supplied flooring and can also supply it for you.
