Project
Wall Panelling Around the Staircase and Built-in TV Wall
Decorative wall panelling running up the stairs and landing, plus a built-in TV wall unit with integrated wardrobe storage.
The brief
What the client wanted
The clients wanted to give a plain hallway and staircase character, and to replace a freestanding TV stand with fitted storage. We designed and fitted panelling and mouldings around the stairs and built a TV wall unit with a matching wardrobe.
How we did it
Step by step, from the first day on site to the finished result.
Step 1
Panelling around the stairs
Mouldings set out to follow the string of the staircase.
Step 2
Landing panelling
Panelling continued around the landing for a consistent look.
Step 3
Detail
Mitred joints and crisp lines before painting.
Step 4
Wall panel moulding
Panelling in the living space.
Step 5
Built-in TV wall unit
A fitted media wall with shelving and storage.
Step 6
Wardrobe and TV unit
Wardrobe storage integrated with the TV wall.
The result
A hallway and living room that look finished and bespoke, with storage hidden in plain sight.
