This policy explains what personal information Adior Construction Ltd collects when you use this website or contact us, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. Last updated: 30 August 2026.
Who we are
Adior Construction Ltd is a family-run building company registered in England and Wales, company number 13068124. Address: 2 The Cobbins, Waltham Abbey, Essex, EN9 1LH. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about it at contact@adiorconstruction.co.uk or on +44 20 3150 0510.
What we collect
- Contact and project details you give us when you use the contact form, email us, call, message us on WhatsApp or book an appointment: typically your name, phone number, email address, property address and a description of the work.
- Appointment details if you book through Calendly, which handles the booking on our behalf.
- Quotation, contract and invoicing records if we carry out work for you.
- Limited technical data (such as IP address and browser type) collected automatically in our hosting provider’s server logs for security and performance.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit and prepare your quote (legitimate interests and steps taken at your request before a contract).
- To carry out the work you have instructed and manage payment (performance of a contract).
- To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation; retained for six years as required by HMRC).
- To photograph completed work for our gallery or social media, only where you have agreed (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
We do not sell your information, use it for automated decision-making, or send marketing emails.
Who we share it with
Only where needed to run the business: our website hosting provider, Calendly (appointment scheduling), WhatsApp (Meta) if you choose to message us there, suppliers or subcontractors involved in your job, and our professional advisers such as accountants. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
This site uses only essential cookies needed to make the site work and serve pages quickly (caching). We do not set advertising or analytics cookies. Embedded third-party services, such as the Calendly booking widget, may set their own cookies when you use them; their privacy policies apply to that use.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to two years, so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to the project.
- Quotes, contracts, invoices and related correspondence: six years after the end of the tax year they relate to.
- Project photos used with your consent: until you ask us to remove them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@adiorconstruction.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
